She was feeling rather dazed when she heard the sound of a car honking. She turned and saw that it was Trystan's car.
The car window rolled down, revealing Trystan's bewitching side profile.
"Get in the car!"
Bethany frowned. "I don't need to."
She dragged her feet onward.
If he didn't love her at all, she didn't need his pity.
She didn't expect the car to follow her. Trystan sounded slightly impatient. "Get in the car!"
"I told you that I don't need you!" Bethany stopped and yelled at the face in the car.
"If I get in the car, will you love me? Will you stay married to me? No, you won't! So, leave me alone! I don't need your pity!"
