Chapter 521
Trystan headed toward the kitchen.
Jenny informed Bethany in a hushed tone, "Wait for me in the living room and have something to eat. I'll go up by myself."
"Okay, talk this out peacefully, and don't be too impulsive," Bethany advised.
Jenny took three deep breaths before turning and going upstairs.
Bethany saw that Trystan hadn't come out of the kitchen yet, so she slowly walked over. She found him cooking pasta.
The warm yellow light cast a soft glow on the man, who was wearing an apron. His sharp features seemed less imposing, making him appear more approachable.
Her eyes welled up as she suddenly remembered something. Back when they had started talking about divorce, George had forced Trystan to make her a plate of pasta.
The flavor of that pasta was a distant memory, yet the feeling of happiness it brought her remained vivid.
"What's wrong?" Trystan's voice suddenly broke the silence.
She snapped out of her thoughts and realized she was crying. She quickly wiped her tear
