Trystan wanted to follow, but Bianca grabbed him.
"Trys, are you trying to push Meg to the brink?" she asked coldly. "Whatever happened to Bethany, let Frank handle it. You stay here!"
"No!" Trystan refused almost instinctively. He pushed Bianca's hand away. "Mom, tell Meg I'm sorry, but I have to go!"
Bianca collapsed back into the chair, defeated.
Sawyer and Jacinta had been watching nearby.
"Well, well," Sawyer smirked, spreading his hands. "The one who usually causes the least trouble is often the one with the biggest surprises."
He turned and waved to everyone. "The party's over, folks. This wedding feast... you won't be able to enjoy it."
The crowd exchanged bewildered glances. Some wanted to comfort Bianca but decided against it seeing her grim face. Eventually, they all left.
