"Okay." Megan set her glass down and smiled.

Serene frowned. Megan's sudden words made her uneasy.
Megan's expression shifted, a look of hatred in her eyes. "But things didn't go our way. Bethany and the others kept causing trouble, pushing us."
"Meg." Serene panicked, "What are you saying? Is it—"
