Chapter 107
A sudden knock came from the door, and Trystan walked in. He had carried George out.
As he entered, he noticed the look on Bianca's face. She seemed to be experiencing a mix of surprise, sympathy, and frustration.
Trystan glanced at Bethany, who seemed indifferent. "Bethany, weren't you going out? I can give you a ride," he suggested.
"Sure." Bethany grabbed her things and joined Trystan.
"Mom, I'm heading to the office," Trystan said before he left.
"Wait," Bianca called out. She hesitated before continuing, "Trystan, you don't have to handle everything at work alone. Take some time off when you can. Give yourself a break and rest properly."
Trystan was confused. It was the first time Bianca urged him to take a break. He even wondered if he had misheard her.
"It's fine, Mom. I'm not tired."
"I'm serious. Listen to me and take a break," Bianca insisted, her expression grim. "Don't push yourself too hard. It's not worth it."
"Okay."
Trystan felt wary as he left with Bethany.
