CHAPTER 49: ANDREAS’ PLAN
"This whole thing isn't fair; I was here before her," the man argued, his cockney accent even more pronounced.
"It would be in your best interest not to cause any trouble here, mate," Stefan warned calmly. “Get going now. I'm done with business today." He added, then pasted a lascivious smile as he turned his attention back to Victory and Andreas.
The scorned client pursed his lips in anger, then motioned for his men to follow him as he turned towards the door.
Stefan heard him mumble something about unprofessional criminals." But he ignored it; the thought of the one million was enough to keep his mood great for about a week.
Victoria sighed inaudibly after the man exited; something about his cold, emotionless eyes had left her even more on edge than Stefan's viper-like demeanor. Also, his leaving made her slightly more confident that she and Andreas could escape if something happened.
"So," Stefan addressed her, "what are you called?"
"Vivian, my name's Vivian." She lied smooth
