Chapter 77- Teacher and Student
Jack padded over to Elsa. His breathing was heavy and ragged but he pushed on.
The car had smashed Elsa to the ground burying most of her body parts except her right arm.
'Elsa, please be alright,' he thought to himself, and squeezed her arm tenderly; feeling for a pulse. Relief surfaced on his face as he felt the pulse but it was too weak. She was still unconscious and she'd remain that way for a while.
Jack turned to August who looked so fatigued; he had never seen him that way before. He turned at Elsa whose body was still buried under the car. He had to help August else he would die.
"Elsa," his voice dropped silently. "Please, be alive."
August struggled to stand to his full feet. He had lost all strength and it took all that he had to stand on his two feet. The eyes of the beast drifted over to him and charged at an unnatural speed.
The beast stopped a few inches away from August. It grimaced in pain as it turned to look behind him. Jack was staring at it, his eyes showed
