Chapter 156 -A foul mouth
The truck driver trembled in fear. He was even more afraid when he looked closer and realized that Draken was holding on to the the edge of the cliff with just two fingers.
Through the bizarre situation, Draken noticed his fearfully colored face. A mocking smile graced his lips and he began.
"Life is more enjoyable when one treads along the edge of death."
"Look, man!" The truck driver began to wail. "I'm so sorry about earlier. I shouldn't have shouted. I ain't your enemy. I'm just tryna do my shift and get back to my wife. I don't want to die."
"But why do you cling to life so desperately?" the mocking grin on his face persisted. "You work a shitty job, and I'm sure there's no way your wife appreciates you. Also, it was late that night and there was no merchandise in that truck. Your breath reeks of alcohol meaning you just went out to get wasted."
The truck driver's eyes widened in astonishment, unable to believe that Draken was so right on the money.
