Chapter 87: Why Won’t You Ask Me?
Alison was well aware that the alcohol at the table was incredibly strong. She wanted to refuse but hadn’t even opened her mouth when someone placed a full glass of liquor in front of her.
"Our junior here is famous for holding her liquor. You wouldn’t refuse us, would you?" one of the men taunted.
Before Alison could respond, Jenny interjected sweetly, "Alison, you’re known for drinking well at school. Now’s not the time to be shy. Besides, these are our esteemed seniors—getting closer to them can only help you."
Jenny's words were calculated, pushing Alison into a corner. Jenny wanted Alison humiliated and vulnerable. Only when Alison was suffering would Jenny feel satisfied.
Alison was furious but knew that protesting would be useless. Jenny was Oliver’s fiancée, and that title alone ensured no one would oppose her. Alison, on the other hand, was just an ordinary girl with no power or influence.
Desperate, Alison glanced at the principal, but he was already too drunk to notice.
