Chapter 30: A Carefully Laid Trap
The smile on Alison's face was filled with sarcasm, mocking Oliver's foolishness and Jenny's malicious, scheming nature.
Looking at them now, Alison thought they were a perfect match—one foolish, the other vicious. They were meant to be together, and no one could ever tear them apart.
As she stood there, a cold smirk spread across her face while she scanned the room, taking in the arrangement and decor. It was easy to see how much of Oliver’s presence filled this place—his clothes on the couch, a watch on the coffee table, and a glass on the dining table.
Just as she was about to look away, Alison caught Oliver's eyes burning with intense hatred.
Oliver stood there as if he were a god, watching her, waiting for her to fall to her knees and beg for forgiveness. He seemed to take pleasure in her humiliation, as though he had complete control over her fate.
Feeling her body grow colder, Alison gave him a cold, mocking smile, then turned to leave without a single word of pleading.
