Alison nodded, "Please leave it on the nightstand."
Just as the doctor was about to leave, he seemed to remember something and said, “Mr. Oliver truly cares about you, Miss Alison. Just earlier, I saw him standing outside your room for quite a while.”
Alison smiled faintly but didn’t comment. She knew very well that Oliver probably wished for her demise. Words like these were meaningless to her, not worth paying attention to.

After he left, Jane glanced at Alison and said, “When I was coming upstairs, I saw Oliver and Jenny kissing downstairs.”
