Jenny pursed her lips. "Robina."
Robina looked away and refused to acknowledge her.
"Robina, stop being stubborn!" Jenny's patience was running low. "No matter how much you insist, I won't agree to your request."
"What request?" I interjected.
Jenny fell silent, struggling to find her voice for a moment. "Robina wants to…"
"I'll say it myself." Although Robina was tied up, her defiance was unmistakable.
At some point, Grace had stepped out and returned with a pair of scissors. She gently patted Robina's head and said, "Hold still. I'll cut these ropes off for you."
