As the day turned to evening, the mood in the dining room had transformed. What had started as a desperate measure had become something more - a community coming together, supporting each other through the crisis.
Anna and Freya found a quiet moment amidst the controlled chaos, leaning against a wall and watching the scene before them.
"You know," Freya said, her voice thoughtful, "when you first arrived, I was... skeptical. I didn't think an outsider could understand our ways, let alone contribute to our community."
Anna turned to look at her, curious where this was going.
Freya continued, her eyes still on the room. "But I was wrong. The way you've stepped up, how you care for these people... You may not be a werewolf, Anna, but you have the heart of one."
Anna felt a warmth bloom in her chest at Freya's words. "Thank you, Freya. That means a lot coming from you."
