CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN - BOND OF ICE
Getting Freya back to her room proved to be quite the adventure. The Luna, usually so dignified, was now giggling like a schoolgirl and attempting to walk in zig-zags down the hallway.
"Shh!" Anna hushed her, hearing footsteps around the corner. "We can't let the staff see you like this!"
In a moment of quick thinking, Anna pulled them both into a nearby linen closet just as two maids passed by, gossiping about the festival. Freya, finding their hiding spot hilarious, burst into a fit of muffled laughter, burying her face in Anna's shoulder to stifle the sound.
Once the coast was clear, Anna maneuvered them back into the hallway, only to be met with another challenge - stairs. Freya insisted she could "fly" up them, and Anna had to practically wrestle her to keep her from attempting to prove it.
"You know," Freya slurred as Anna half-carried her up the steps, "you're not so bad, for a human. You've got... whatsit called... moxie!"
Anna couldn't help but chuckle. "Thanks, I think.
