Zoe's P.O.V After he asked me why I decided to stay in the US. Therefore I told him it was a personal choice and regardless of the situation two-thirds of my time is spent in Trinidad. I mean Christmas and everything else just feels right in Trinidad where I had grown up. Fun fact Daryl's grandmother was also of Trinidadian origin. We had met when I came to the US to study and well let's say things took a bad turn for me and Daryl at least but I still loved his family and had nothing against any of them. The males knew how to treat their women right and the same thing went for the women in his family and to be honest, all those things made them awesome power couples. I was never one to focus on men over my goals neither were any of them his grandma was a P.A but she worked her behind off and the same goes for Daryl's mom who was a doctor but after I felt heartbreak from him I never paid attention to any guy.
