CHAPTER FIFTY-NINE JUDAS
DYLAN’S POV
He had done it again—that crazy bastard had managed to make things worse than they already were. I hadn't been going out much after I was switched from my position, besides attending work meetings, so I never knew what was going on at first. I didn't really use the internet either, and I was only on my mobile phone when it was absolutely necessary.
I stuck to getting news about my different work schedules and never paid attention to anything else. I also used my phone to call my ex-fiancee, but only briefly. It was all so I could check up on her and see how she was doing, but she must still be taken aback by how heady I was when we last met, which, in my defense, was because I was already suspicious and seeing her there, at his branch, made me think the worst and thus, made me act rashly.
I understand that now; I know I made a big mistake, so why wasn't she still picking up the phone? That was a question I couldn't stop asking myself. I went to work a day ago, and
