CHAPTER 18 IN A FIX

JADE’S POV I've been so down and out ever since my little tiff with... I don't want to think about or speak about him anymore. Many people at work and my friends have noticed this; some, aka Leslie and her minions, must think it's because he was disrespectful to me. Well, he was, but not in the way they think, so they've been gossiping a lot, but the others who are my friends don't know the story since I haven't said anything about it. I didn't want to since it would remind me of all the awful feelings I had because of it, and I could've broken down again. Thankfully, it was a Saturday, and I was so relieved because I could finally relax from all the mental stress this job and every other thing related to it had caused, and more importantly, I could sleep for the whole day.
