Chapter 84 - Moonlit Resurgence

Lycoria drifted in the calm, starry lake, the water enveloping her as the chill swept over her. Her sisters had brought her here to rest and get away from the mayhem, but something changed. Her eyelids suddenly opened, as though she had been startled awake by an unseen force. She sat up straight, gasping, spluttering and choking as water spurted out of her mouth. Her skin tingled with energy, and every breath made her chest heave. Something was different. A force she had never experienced before throbbed through her veins as her powers erupted. As she looked down at her hands, she watched in wonder as little silver energy tendrils sprang from her fingers. It was as if her magic had multiplied in power, the moon's very essence giving her renewed energy. Lycoria looked around the lake quickly, her heart pounding. She could not see her sisters. A moment of panic passed through her head, but it was short, she remembered their previous conversation and their plans. Lycoria climbed out
