It was indeed a shock to everyone that the murderer would turn out to be his daughter whom he had transferred majority of his fortune to. This made people rethink and question themselves and the court if they were sure her inheritance was gotten cleanly. They imagined Ria as a human without a heart, if it was possible to murder the one who had changed her financial status then it meant she was also capable of getting her hands dirty and manipulating the fortune list. Ria had thought of her identity completely fading off when she was arrested, she thought her popularity would die down if she spent her years behind the prison walls.
