As Declan carried Bailey's lifeless body to Luna's house, with Hudson walking side to side with him, memories flooded my mind. Luna's house, once a place of joy, now felt heavy with grief. Each step felt like a burden, a hurtful reminder of the loss we had suffered.
“Bailey was a cheerful werewolf, she was always there for the park, we were in love and she was determined to fight for our park” Hudson said tearfully.
“I'm sorry, bro. It hurts. It's painful; I hope the moon accepts her soul as it travels to the great beyond”, Declan consoled.
Hudson howled sadly and didn't say anything again. I understood it was all from a place of pain.
