I decided to approach Teddy directly and ask him about his encounter with this "fellow." Maybe he had some answers that could ease my suspicions. I took a deep breath and mustered up the courage to confront him.
"Teddy," I said, my voice filled with curiosity, "can you tell me more about this 'fellow' who picked you up? I just can't stop wondering why he was so nice to you and what his intentions might be."
Teddy paused for a moment, his eyes meeting mine. He wanted to say something and hesitated to talk about it, and I got really pissed, but he quickly resumed munching on his food, seemingly lost in thought. I couldn't help but feel a bit of frustration. I wanted to trust Teddy, but his behavior was raising more questions than answers.
