The next morning, Korbyn made a conscious decision to avoid his usual post at the Academy gate.
After everything that had happened and he had learned from the previous day and night between Fawn’s indifference and the new revelation about Elora—he needed to think, regroup, and avoid her for once in his life.
It wasn’t like him to hide from anyone, especially not Fawn, but the situation had escalated so fast that every time they were near each other, it was one disaster after another.
And Raya—she was another problem altogether. He needed to get out of his hair fast now that he had intel from Adam, enough to make Bourne get her away from his affairs.
