Sloane raised her hand, brushing aside a few strands of hair that had fallen over her temple. Just as she was about to speak, she noticed a familiar figure from the corner of her eye.
It was the butler who had been by Wilder's side back on the island.
The butler approached Sloane respectfully, lowering his voice to remind her that the Lamont family's reunion banquet was about to begin.
Sloane gave a slight nod to indicate she understood, casually dusted off the hem of her dress, and looked down at Keke, who was still kneeling on the ground.
With an air of indifference, she remarked, "Oh, right. I almost forgot to congratulate you, Ms. Jahn. After all this scheming, you've finally secured your place."
