Fox was now certain: Chris was a complete fool.
"A mad dog like you is better off locked up. It’s better for both of us," Fox remarked, feeling a sense of relief that a mad dog like Chris was caged, unable to wreak havoc.
“Fox, when I get out, I’m going to kill you,” Chris snarled, his eyes full of malice as he glared at Fox.
“Oh, maybe I don’t even need to get out; you won’t be having a good time either,” Chris continued to threaten Fox, his expression growing more ferocious.
Fox just spread his hands at this.
"You should work on reforming yourself in there. It’s getting late; I should leave," Fox said, preparing to leave. "I realize now that maybe you're not the biggest threat. The people behind you are the real problem."
"They all need to be dealt with," Fox concluded, recalling some interesting intelligence he'd gathered from Old Ray.
