The weekend passed in a blur, and while Damian had showed up at my doorstep requesting to talk, I had turned him away.
“I have nothing to say to you, Mr Damian. We would meet on work days.”
That was my reply before I shut the door in his face. I have had enough of him trying to rile up my mind or mess with me.
“Good morning.” Damian had greeted me, but I only grunted at him. I was about to make his working hell, and going on, I had no plans to make it any easier for him.
The drive to work was extremely slow, and I hummed to an unknown tune. From time to time, I felt Damian's gaze on me, staring at me through the rear mirror, but I acted oblivious. I was going to take charge of my own feelings, and wouldn't let him. Though it could be hard, I could at least try.
On getting to the office, I left the documents in the car, intentionally not saying anything about it. I hadn't allowed him to take them from me at home, and now I was going to make him return to the car for the
