Abigail nestled in her grandmother's embrace, gently rubbing her head against her. "Grandma, I won't cry for those lowlifes. If anyone should cry, it should be them."
"It seems my Abigail has really grown up." Cassandra patted her back gently. "Abigail, have someone help me sell the house. We'll go to Florivera, and never return to this cursed place again."
"But Grandma..." Abigail looked up at her grandmother; this was the place where she was born, worked, and had her roots. Once the house was sold, her grandmother would have nothing to fall back on.
