Joseph looked at Harold in disbelief. "What did you say, Grandpa?" Harold repeated, "I said, how about you two get divorced, little brat? Since you don't like Samantha anyway. As for Erica, once you and Samantha are divorced, I'll agree not to stand in the way of you marrying her." Samantha was also stunned by Harold's remark. Her mouth twitched for a moment before saying, "What happened to you, Mr. Lynch Senior?" She remembered Harold had always disliked Erica. He thought she was too materialistic to be the lady of the Lynch family. But… why did Harold suddenly have a change of heart? Harold smiled at Samantha. "Samantha, you kids create your own destinies. I've considered it through. I won't interfere with your matters anymore." Harold paused before continuing hesitantly, "Plus, the doctor said my health is worsening as the year goes by. If it doesn't improve, I probably won't make it to next year. I just want you two to stop hurting each other before I pass away." Joseph
