Chapter 30 Even Harsher Words Yet to Come
Benson clenched his fists, his face tight with restraint.
"Did I say anything wrong?" Theo's lips curved slightly, though his eyes remained cold. "Janet, I haven't even said the harshest part yet."
"You…" Janet's body trembled with rage, her face twisted with embarrassment and anger. "Theo, you've gone too far!"
"Enough!" Edward's furious shout silenced the room, his icy gaze on Janet's face.
Though still seething inside, Janet dared not speak another word under Edward's piercing authority. However, she shot a venomous glare at Theo.
Theo was unfazed and remained lounging on the sofa, his long legs stretched out casually. He held a steaming cup of tea in one hand, his posture lazy yet intimidating.
Seeing his indifferent demeanor only fueled Janet's anger further.
Edward glanced at Theo before turning his stern gaze to Benson. He said coldly, "Theo's words may have been harsh, but they're not without reason."
