Chapter 19
Damien's eyes widened the moment our lips met. This was our first kiss. I'd kissed him before, but it was on the cheek.
He pressed a hand to the back of my head and deepened the kiss, flipping me onto my back after a while. Then, the kiss turned more aggressive and passionate. Even the air seemed to heat up.
"Damo… Damo!" I was a little out of breath, and my tongue tingled. I pressed a hand to his chest, my face red as I asked, "Aren't we moving a little too quickly?"
His eyes darkened, but I could see the desire in them. "Sorry. I might have had a bit too much to drink."
That was what he said, but he plastered himself to me and wrapped an arm around my waist. Then, he fell asleep like that. I tried to break free but found that I couldn't move.
I turned to look at Damien. His features were chiseled, and it looked like he was genuinely asleep.
Since I couldn't leave, I decided to spend the night there.
