Chapter 28: All For Nothing

"Well, you're all here. Um, Edmond, I have something to tell you." Martin suddenly showed up at the door as if he was a little surprised that I was here. He seemed to be urgently looking for Edmond, but he couldn't really say why because I was around. "If you have something to tell me, just say it." Edmond did not seem to have any worries about me being there. He looked calm and did not seem to want to hide anything. Martin seemed uncertain for a moment before he quickly gave a report. "Ah? Alright. Everything you've asked for has been taken care of. Hank's assets have basically been taken. Not long ago, he took a risk to make a deal and was caught by the police." Mike and I were stunned by his words. The two of us seemed to have been frozen at this moment. We opened our mouths slightly and looked at Edmond in shock. "I already know this. Mike's colleague called just now. Have you found Hank's whereabouts?" Edmond frowned. "Not yet, but we've found out where his plane landed.
