CHAPTER NINETY TWO – BREAKING DOWN ALONE
"We need to think big," he insisted during a strategy meeting. "Take some chances. That's how we'll get ahead."
His CFO, Michael, looked concerned. "Logan, these investments you're proposing... they're incredibly volatile. We could lose everything."
"Or we could gain everything," Logan countered, a manic gleam in his eye. "Sometimes you have to risk it all to win big."
As his colleagues exchanged worried glances, Logan felt a surge of defiance. He would prove himself, show everyone - especially Deonna - that he could be successful, that he was worthy.
But deep down, a part of him knew he was spiraling out of control. The thought of losing Deonna and Kayla forever terrified him, driving him to make increasingly desperate decisions.
