"This is impossible," he complained as Deonna approached to check on his progress. "How does anyone get anything done with this antiquated system?"
Deonna raised an eyebrow. "It's not impossible, Logan. It just requires attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Perhaps if you spent less time complaining and more time focusing on the task at hand, you'd make better progress."
Logan's eyes flashed with anger. "Don't patronize me. This whole situation is ridiculous. I shouldn't be here, doing this mindless busywork."
"And yet, here you are," Deonna replied calmly. "Your father made his decision, Logan. It's up to you to make the best of it."
Logan stood abruptly, his chair scraping loudly against the floor. "I need a break," he announced, storming off towards the exit.
Deonna watched him go, sighing internally. She had known this wouldn't be easy, but Logan's attitude was making it even more challenging than she had anticipated. She glanced at the mess on his desk, knowing she'
