Macy widened her eyes in shock and asked, "You're buying something for me?"
Clifford remarked, "Hasn't she bought some for you before? Why are you so surprised?"
"Well, wasn't the last time because she made me mad—"
"It's different this time," Roxanne interrupted Macy with a smile. "Even when I was grateful to you guys last time, I bought things using Sebastian's money. But this time, I'm using my own hard-earned money."
"Are you working already?" Macy asked.
Roxanne nodded.
Macy pursed her lips with a hint of sadness. "That's good too…"
