Emery frowned slightly, and she pretended not to see them. She stepped out of the car, not intending to meet Kieran, but Eric followed her and walked around to block her path. His gaze was sharp as he wordlessly grabbed her sleeve and tried to drag her forward. Startled, Emery realized what Eric was doing and instinctively tried to pull away.
