Robert was helping with the construction of a dam at Hooley Village. Manual labor like that was a breeze to them. After getting some rest, Connor walked around the village. He had no idea how long they would be staying here. Thus, he had to get to know the terrain well. Although they were isolated from the rest of the world, there were a few villagers by the entrance of the village and its surroundings. They looked as though they were chatting among themselves, but in reality, they were monitoring Connor and the others' behavior. Connor wasn't planning an escape. He would be waiting for news of Tiffany and wouldn't be leaving for now. At the eastern part of the village, two men from the Dempsey town chatted leisurely. Suddenly, one of them stood up. Upon seeing that, the other man looked around as well. He was quickly on alert. Their eyes met for a second. Then, one of them left silently, as though nothing was off. He reached the dam quickly and whispered into Robert's ear.
