Ethan resembled an abandoned puppy, the kind that evoked heartache just by looking at it. As soon as they arrived on land, Albert immediately took off his coat and wrapped it around Ethan. Adrian gently patted Ethan's back. It was only when he coughed out the water that Adrian finally breathed a sigh of relief. "Ethan, what happened?" he asked. Albert was furious. He glared at Grace, who was just as soaked. "Do we even need to ask? Obviously, Grace pushed him in! It's not like it's her first time doing something like this!" Grace could feel the hostility radiating from Albert. "I didn't," she defended herself. Adrian didn't look at her. Instead, he gently asked the boy in his arms, "Who pushed you into the water?" Ethan looked up. His finger, pale from the water, pointed at Grace. "She pushed me." The restraint in Adrian's gaze solidified into disappointment. "You knew Ethan is afraid of water, yet you still pushed him in on purpose. Grace, is there really nothing you wouldn't
