Over in the CEO's office, Grace made Jonathan coffee when she saw him returning. This was part of a secretary's duties, but she clearly had never done such work before. Two-thirds of the mug was filled with coffee, making the brew bitter, yet Jonathan still drank it. When she tried to pour him another cup, he quickly stood up and offered her his chair. "I'll do it myself." Jonathan brewed fresh coffee and poured her a cup. "Ms. Lawson, would you like something to eat? I'll get it for you right away," he mentioned as he handed over her cup of tea.
