Chapter 55

I gently got out of bed as I became hungry. In my bedroom, I switched on the light. I started by meditating a few times because I was too lazy to walk to the kitchen but needed to eat. I don"t want to bother our maid by waking up since I"m too lazy to walk. As I forced myself to walk, I let out a long sigh. I was sluggish, but my hunger won out. I slid open the door to my room slowly. I drew my head out of the door and looked down the corridor. Since midnight, almost all of the lights in the home have been turned out. I first placed my phone on my nightstand to provide light into the kitchen. It"s difficult; I"m afraid I"ll trip or collide with a wall. I made my way slowly to the kitchen. I"m very grateful that the house isn"t too big. Because of my illness, I also find it difficult to walk great distances. These days, I open the fridge and hunt for my favorite food.
