CHAPTER 86: BLOOD SPILL
Drakon threw himself at Axton and, in mid-air, transformed into his wolf form. Then, he swiped out with his claws at the witch, but his claws bounced back as if they'd hit an invisible barrier shielding her. Drakon dropped to the floor and began pounding at the barrier, but nothing worked. Instead, the energy kept pulsing from the witch's body.
The other wolves, no longer fixed by Axton's magic, join in trying to get to Axton. Drakon turned his attention to Shirley, who had managed not to fall to the ground but was standing on wobbly legs.
She, too, had the same invisible barrier shielding her. Drakon roared and slashed the barrier with his claws, but nothing worked.
"My sister has cast a shield around herself and Shirley!" Dahlia said and rushed over. "Let me try." She took position and raised both hands, then muttered a spell. Her palms glowed, and so did the barrier. After a while, Dahlia gasped and stumbled back. "No!"
Drakon morphed to his human form once more to talk to Dahli
