CHAPTER 114: A SCOUTING DUTY
"Dahlia! No…no!" Shirley screamed as she ran towards the direction the wind had taken her, then stopped when she saw no signs of the woman she had left the house with.
Of course, the strange wind had immediately subsided. Eventually, it stopped right after Dahlia's disappearance, and Shirley was beyond distraught as she ran as fast as she could back to the holding.
People would think she was crazy if she told them what she'd just seen. It would sound strange to her if someone else were to say that to her.
"Hopefully, Drakon would understand me," she muttered as she hurried past the people waving and smiling at her and others who kept asking, "What's wrong, milady?" with curious or worried expressions on their faces.
She pushed open the door to the hallway and rushed towards her husband's office, almost crashing into a maid hurling a bucket full of water.
A disappointed whimper escaped her when she opened his door and saw her wasn't there.
"Milady?" She spun around to face the shy
