Chapter 80 Like an Old Friend
Evelyn and Damian went to Coral Alley and visited the Botanical Garden Café.
"Do you come here often?" Evelyn asked, noticing how familiar Damian was with the place.
Damian glanced at her, his pace slowing slightly. "Not really. I only came here twice, except my visits had been pretty recent."
Without realizing it, they had fallen into step, walking side by side.
"Twice?" Evelyn thought to herself. "The place where he went for his blind date a few days ago must have been here. The second time... could it have been the day he brought her flowers?"
Coral Alley and the department store weren't on the same route. She wondered if he'd come here just for the flowers or another date.
The peaceful alley allowed Evelyn's thoughts to wander.
"We're here."
