Iris sighed. No wonder Iris found Isabelle rather graceful and poised. It turned out that Isabelle had grown up in an affluent environment.
“She ended up working in Hall Group because she refused any help?” Iris asked. “Were you unaware of this?”

Iris was led out of the hospital but her mind was preoccupied with Isabelle’s situation. She could not begin to imagine how difficult it was for a girl to lose everything she had known her whole life and still refused any help from her friends.
