Henry frowned deeply. “The doctor said it wouldn’t hurt.”
“I don’t believe it. I’m sure he must be in pain.”
They liked the baby, but they also felt heartbroken for him.
“I heard he even smiled when he was inside so that probably means he isn’t in pain,” he added to reassure her.
