A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. "He's here!" Alice whispered excitedly, like he was going to hear us outside. With my head held high, I stood up from my bed and smoothly slid my hands on my dress. I was supposed to wear pants and a shirt, and decided to wear otherwise in the last minute. Luckily Alice is here to help me and I finished right on time. I wore a light purple dress that reached just below my knee and paired it with a low-heeled sandal. I then chose to braid the sides of my hair to compliment my dress. Alice gave me a light, natural makeup to highlight my beauty.
