Chapter 78: A Lovers' Tiff?
Sophie came to Sarkon's side and greeted him with a bow.
"What is happening?" the guardian asked. "Is she not supposed to be practicing?"
Sophie smiled sheepishly. "It's a friend from school. Miss Maria's texting him."
Instantly, Sarkon shot back a glare that startled the maid. "Him?" His deep voice snarled like a jealous boyfriend.
She immediately fell into a series of stammering. "Y-yes, S-sir. I-it seems that h-he was worried about M-miss Maria."
Those cobalt eyes darkened with fury. "Who is it?"
"I-I d-don't know, Sir."
"Find out," Sarkon growled and left with a swoosh of cold air.
Sophie stared with curious eyes at the giant stalking away. She turned back to the young lady and heaved a sigh as she walked back to her.
"Is everything alright, Miss?"
Maria's face shot up. Her emerald eyes shone with worry, and her pretty brows knitted as if she had met with a huge problem. "What shall I do, Sophie?"
The maid went closer.
