Paxton took a moment to assess Mia's appearance; she exuded wealth unmistakably. To her, sixty thousand was merely the price of a handbag.
"You think quite highly of yourself," Mia sneered coldly, mocking Paxton.
Yet, sixty thousand wasn't significant to her. Mia's eyes gleamed with calculation as she regarded Paxton, amusement tinting her tone. "Sixty thousand is feasible, but your task will be more intricate."
She was affluent but not naive; for Paxton to earn money from her, he would need to put in effort.
"Tell me," Paxton's voice turned urgent.
After completing this, he planned to leave ArcState and start fresh in a city where no one knew him.
"I need you to incite trouble at the restaurant again tomorrow. Make it big this time. I'll arrange for the media to be there," Mia instructed, inspecting her manicured nails casually. "Until I instruct otherwise, you mustn't cease."
"And lure those kids out too. We might as well kidnap them," Mia added with a cold smirk.
