Chapter 35 The Send-Off

I had a long dream about Ares and me.
In my dream, Ares cruelly kicked me out of the castle, saying he didn’t need me anymore.
No matter how badly I cried, Ares was unfazed by my tears.
I woke up with tears in my eyes, realizing it was all a dream. However, the sadness felt so real.
Sitting up, I noticed I was in an unfamiliar place.
The last thing I remembered before passing out was Ares whispering my name in my ear. In that case, I must be in Ares’ territory.
When I tried to get out of bed, I realized I was patched up for my injuries from horseback riding. The white gauze was wrapped around the outside of my pants with a beautiful bowtie. It was clearly Mars’ work.
I tried to take a few steps, and the sore feeling from my thighs was bearable.
Then, I walked out of the tent to find myself surrounded by tents. However, no one was around.
“You’re awake, Aimee.”
Even though I heard Mars’ voice, I looked around and couldn’t find him.
“Hey, I’m here!”
