Mia nodded, her expression serious. "You're right. I just... Laura, what's really going on here? First Mr. Foster, now Mr. Dawson... it can't be a coincidence."
Laura felt torn. Part of her wanted to confide in Mia, to share the burden of what she knew. But Logan's warning echoed in her mind.
"I don't know," Laura said finally. "But we need to keep our eyes open and document everything. Something's not right, and we need to figure out what it is."
As Mia left the break room, Laura slumped in her chair, feeling the weight of her double life more acutely than ever. She was walking a dangerous line between her duty as a nurse, her promise to Logan, and her own moral compass.
That night, as Laura lay in bed, unable to sleep, she found herself questioning everything. Was she doing the right thing by spying on Dr. Carter? Was she putting her colleagues – her friends – in danger by involving them, even indirectly?
