Maybe Abigail had noticed the change in my expression. Instead of backing off, she pushed even further.
She grabbed my hand and pushed me down onto the bed, her movements bold and unrestrained. The coolness of the evening air contrasted sharply with the heat radiating off her, like a seductive fox fully reveling in its allure.
"Samuel, I want to hear the truth," she demanded.
