Joshua's antics were clearly meant to provoke me. Making my life difficult seemed to be his greatest source of joy.
As soon as he realized that I needed a VIP ward for my treatment, he swooped in and claimed the last one, determined to outdo me.
Blair frowned deeply, her voice sharp as she snapped at him, "What do you think you're doing? This room is already reserved for us. Get out!"
Joshua, however, had no intention of moving. He sprawled on the bed, clutching his chest dramatically and gasping for air.
"Oh no, my chest hurts. Nurse! Doctor! Somebody, help me!" he cried, kicking off his shoes and fully settling into the bed like he owned it.
It was clear that he planned to occupy the room no matter what.
"Do you even understand what a first come, first served basis means?" Blair was livid, glaring at him as if she was ready to drag him out herself.
Joshua didn't flinch. Instead, he gave her a smug, innocent look and replied, "Exactly! You said it—first come, first
